Verizon Theater

The Verizon Theater is equipped with the latest technology to ensure your meeting is a success. The space includes built-in audiovisual systems with high-definition video projectors. Main Exhibit Floor

Mix and mingle among artifacts from the country’s most salacious cases in the Museum’s largest and most versatile space. The Exhibit Floor is ideal for gatherings small or large, from receptions to banquet events or whatever else you can envision.

The Learning Center

Forensic Pathology

Learn the basics of Forensic Pathology and gain a greater understanding of the role it plays in our criminal justice system.

CSI Crash Course

Step in the shoes of a real CSI (Crime Scene Investigator). Learn how to collect and label evidence from a crime scene and then test it in the forensic laboratory.

True Crime Breakout Scavenger Hunt

In this series of scavenger hunts, explore the Museum’s exhibits and artifacts and uncover clues that help to decipher the combinations to several locks, unveiling more information about the case until arriving at the verdict.

Driving Simulators

Sit in the Driver’s Seat and Go on Patrol:
Experience the reality of an American law enforcement officer behind the wheel. You will view a specific set of scenarios to best illustrate the split-second decision-making required of law enforcement officers around the country and the weight of these quick decisions.

Decision Simulator

Step Into an Officer’s Shoes:
A “walk in the shoes” experience of a law enforcement officer. You will interact with a use-of-force simulation based upon real situations officers face in the community to understand the weight of split-second decision making, and the intricacies of escalation and de-escalation of force practices.

Conveniently located in downtown DC, our Museum sits on the campus of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial at Judiciary Square. Just steps away from the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the National Mall, Union Square, and many of DC’s popular eateries and hotels. Our campus offers an on-site metro station and nearby parking garages, making it a prime location for hosting your meeting or event.
