The Communications and Digital Media Manager plays a key role in advancing the goals, objectives and activities of the Public Engagement Department. The position assists departmental staff in developing, implementing, and assessing the effectiveness of communications, advertising, marketing, and public relations efforts. The position has a particular focus on, and primary responsibility for, developing the organization’s strategies for utilizing social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blog, etc.) and outbound email marketing in support of the organization’s overall communications goals.

This position will be a great opportunity for a museum educator to lead workshops, programs, and tours for adults, seniors, and audiences with special needs.

Curator

Position Summary:

The Curator provides support for various areas of the Programs Department. This position serves as leader for temporary and changing exhibition development and responds to public inquiries on the Museum’s collections & exhibits. Position performs other administrative duties as necessary. The Curator works closely with Museum, Memorial Fund staff, and law enforcement professionals on a daily basis.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the National Law Enforcement Museum operate regular internship programs that provide students with work opportunities in various aspects of non-profit organization and operations, as well as museum programs.
