The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Corporal Lauren Pridgen, Corporal Christopher Terenyi, Corporal James Sears and Corporal Patrick Madera of the Anne Arundel County (MD) Police Department as the Officers of the Month for September 2025. These officers were selected for their lifesaving actions that occurred over the course of three days.

These officers rushed into a burning home to save a man that was trapped inside.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Police Officer III Andre Smith, Sergeant Timothy Kwaloff, Police Officer I Georgia Ariaza, Police Officer III Alex John, and Sergeant Seamus Galey of the Montgomery County (MD) Police Department, as their Officers of the Month for July 2025. These officers worked together as a team during a domestic situation where a father was holding his young son at knife point.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Detective Claudia Castro of the Fairfax County (VA) Police Department, as their Officer of the Month for June 2025. Detective Castro was selected for her actions during an investigation that was brought forth by a child victim being solicited online for sex by an unknown adult.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced that Police Officer First Class (POFC) Ian Lachapelle of the Fairfax County (VA) Police Department, is their Officer of the Month for May 2025. POFC Lachapelle was selected for his actions when he ultimately saved the lives of his two fellow officers who were taking fire at point-blank range from a driver of a vehicle they had stopped.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officer Brian Sanchioni and his K9 partner Titan, of the Milford (MA) Police Department as their Officers of the Month for April 2025. Officer Sanchioni and Titan were selected for their actions when they located a missing 8-year-old, non-verbal autistic child that had wandered away from home.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officer Noah Allatt of the Bridgewater Township (NJ) Police Department as their Officer of the Month for March 2025. Officer Allatt was recognized for his actions in rescuing a motorist trapped in a burning vehicle following a collision.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Patrolman David Brosonski of the West Long Branch (NJ) Police Department, as their Officer of the Month for February 2025. Patrolman Brosonski was selected for his actions when he rescued an 11-year old boy who had fallen through the ice on a frozen lake.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officers Adrian Woolford, Chrystian Banuelos and Jonathan Bombardier of the Pasadena (CA) Police Department as their Officers of the Month for January 2025. These officers were recognized for their bravery and determination in ensuring the safety of residents during the Eaton fires by going door to door – including at a nursing home – to locate and evacuate individuals surrounded by active fires.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officer Sara Howell of the Ridley Township (PA) Police Department as their Officer of the Month for December 2024. Officer Howell was selected for her heroic actions in rescuing a driver trapped in his vehicle after it was struck by a train and caught fire.
