Airman E-2 Campbell died in a single-vehicle crash in Al Jaber, Kuwait while en route to routine patrol duty on the military side of the Kuwait City International Airport. Airman E-2 Campbell lost control of the department vehicle on a curve, and the SUV rolled over three times. Airman E-2 Campbell, Airman 1st Class David Schroeder and two fellow officers were transported to the hospital. Airman E-2 Campbell and A1C Schroeder were pronounced deceased. The other two officers survived their injuries. Airman E-2 Campbell was a member of the 2nd Security Forces Squadron, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.
