Police Officer Lawson suffered chest pains after he and his partner struggled to subdue an impaired soldier and placed him in a holding cell. During the struggle, the suspect struck Officer Lawson in the chest with his elbow. Officer Lawson was transported to the hospital where he died of a heart attack.
