Reserve Corporal Johnson was dispatched to a domestic incident, but when Corporal Johnson arrived on the scene, the suspect left in his vehicle. Corporal Johnson saw the suspect and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect then returned to his home and parked in his driveway. Corporal Johnson stopped his patrol vehicle and before he could exit, the suspect opened fire on the officer while he was still in the patrol vehicle. Corporal Johnson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
