Fire Marshal Bucca was killed when terrorists crashed two of four hijacked planes into the World Trade Center towers in New York City on the morning of September 11, 2001. Marshal Bucca was trained as an antiterrorist intelligence expert, and was last seen ascending the south tower above the 50th floor moments before the tower collapsed.
