Sergeant White was killed in a motorcycle crash while escorting a funeral procession. Sergeant White was in the motorcycle unit assigned to blocking traffic for the procession. Sergeant White was passing the funeral procession to block the next intersection when someone from the procession left causing a collision. Sergeant White was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
