Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the Museum are dedicated exclusively to groups!

Blue Star

Our Blue Star package is our most exclusive opportunity to visit our museum. Starting at $1000 for up to 20 people (and $50 per person after 20 people), booking a Blue Star visit entitles your group to a 3-hour private museum visit! You’ll have the museum entirely to yourselves to explore. Our Blue Star package includes:

  • A guided tour, both Driving and Decision simulator experiences, and a workshop of choice.
  • 10% discount on merchandise
  • A collectible challenge coin for every visitor

Building Blue

Our Building Blue package is designed to make the most of your group’s time and budget. Groups booking a Building Blue package are entitled to the group admission rates (per person: $16.50 adult, $13.50 youth) and can choose to add on experiences for an additional cost:

  • Group Tour – $5 per person
  • Simulator – $5 per person
  • Workshop – $10 per person

Although our most flexible option, groups booking a Building Blue package will acknowledge that other groups may be visiting at the same time. Building Blue groups are also limited to one choice of simulator.

Looking to visit us on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

Although we still invite groups to experience the museum on these days, in order to accommodate the public, groups will not be able to partake in either simulator nor our snapshot workshops. A tour may only be provided if staffing capacity is available and must be scheduled in advance.

School Groups

The National Law Enforcement Museum brings together both education and entertainment. Students will have the opportunity to explore our exhibits, complete a workshop, and try out our simulators.

Group Chaperone Policy

Groups must have 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students visiting the Museum; these chaperones will receive complimentary entry. Any additional chaperones will be entitled to the student group admission rate. Chaperones must stay with their assigned students for all tours and workshops.

Free Admission for Qualifying School Districts

Title I and Title I Targeted Assistance Schools from the following school districts qualify for free admission to the Museum:

  • Washington, D.C.
  • Maryland: Anne Arundel County, Calvert County, Charles County, Frederick County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, St. Mary’s County
  • Virginia: Arlington County, Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Stafford County, City of Alexandria, City of Falls Church, City of Manassas, City of Manassas Park”

Hours of Operation

Unless otherwise noted, the Law Enforcement Museum is open to the public:
Friday – Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM 

Private group visits are available:
Tuesday – Thursday.

The Museum is closed on Mondays.
