Hidden Objects: The harness of K9 narcotics officer Sabo

This harness was worn by K9 officer Sabo, who was partnered with Chief Ken Roske of the Pasco (WA) Police Department in the 1990s. K9s and their handlers perform a variety of important tasks, including searching for drugs, explosives, and missing persons, searching for crime scene evidence and even taking down criminals. Check out this photo of Sabo posing with 86 lbs of marijuana that he and Roske seized off an Amtrak train in 1996.
