PENDINGOfficial Line-of-Duty Fallen Heroes

Officers who were lost in 2026 pending designation as Official Line-of-Duty Fallen Heroes.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is the leading authority on line-of-duty deaths. For an officer to be considered for inclusion on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, an Officer Data Form must be submitted to the Memorial Fund. The form must be completed by an official representative of the department for which the officer served, and must be signed by the head of the agency. An Officer Data Form must be submitted by the December 31 deadline to be considered for inclusion on the Memorial the following year. Once all the required information is submitted and an officer is identified as a possible honoree, a case file and the extensive vetting process begins.
