The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund will host special activities during Police Weekend, September 26 – 28, 2025, to honor law enforcement, including the Bid for the Badge auction, the Annual Awards Ceremony, the free Museum Open House, and several professional sports law enforcement appreciation events!

The Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception, to be held at the National Law Enforcement Museum, will recognize and award the individuals and agencies who created programs that save officer lives, who went above and beyond their call of duty, and made a significant impact on the law enforcement community:

The National Law Enforcement Museum will offer free attendance and a day filled with family-friendly activities, demonstrations, and immersive educational experiences. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with law enforcement, learn about their vital role in society, and have a blast with engaging activities. This event is fit for all ages. In addition to free entry to our unique experience, special added activities will include:
- Storytime with an Officer
- Activity Cart – K9, Handwriting Analysis, Cop Talk, and Fingerprinting
- K9 Demonstration – MPD or USSS K9 demos in the theater
- Activity Tables – Design Your Own Police Patch and Fingerprinting
- Photo stations with props
- Self-guided Scavenger Hunts
- Plus, all of the Museum’s highly interactive exhibits!
