Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

On Saturday, June 1st, the National Law Enforcement Museum will host our second free Family Fun Day. From opening to 3 PM, fun activities themed around planes, trains, and automobiles will take place throughout the Museum. Explore the exhibits and complete our scavenger hunt to earn a special prize.
Visitors can put their engineering skills to the test by making their own rubber band car and a bike chain fidget toy in the Dupont Gallery. Also assemble lap blankets for car crash victims to aid those in need. In the Learning Center, we are hosting a book nook and coloring corner for our guests to take a break from the crowd and enjoy some quiet time.
At 1 PM, join officers from US Park Police’s Horse Mounted Unit, Amtrak Police Department, and US Coast Guard Air Station for a presentation about their unique work. Museum admission is free from opening to closing (10 AM – 6 PM) for all visitors. Children under 5 years of age are always free. Come join us for the fun and face painting!
