Panelists discussed ways their communities are dealing with this crisis, which has already claimed the lives of more than 300,000 Americans. While each community has taken a unique approach to the situation, all agreed that the resources must reach those in need and that resolving the crisis involves a team of not just law enforcement officers, but also social workers, medical, and mental health professionals.
