Police Officer Allan McCollum was struck and killed by an intoxicated driver while conducting a traffic stop. Another officer was struck and wounded during the incident. Officer McCollum is the 7th law enforcement officer to be killed in a traffic-related incident and the second officer fatality from the state of Texas in 2020.
