    1. Officer Greg Carnicle now rests, bathed in eternal light. Still, for those of us left behind, particularly his family, the void is very real, and the pain is, unfortunately, the price tag that goes along with Love. Some, like me, view Officer Carnicle, and love him on sight; another fallen hero, another One willing to give his life so that I may lead mine more safely.
We collectively mourn His loss, and grieve with the Carnicle Family. Platitudes are not enough; his death deserves a call to action…..as for the Carnicle Family, I’m afraid that they will now have to learn that some chairs at the Table can never quite be filled by someone new. This is why we await the Great Banquet in what some refer to as Heaven, where all beloveds who are lost to us shall be re-united again, in Great Joy and Many Many tears among the laughter.
In the meantime, we need to Step Up Again, somehow that there is not another Officer Carnicle going down in the line of duty. We also must ensure at the very least, that his family is cared for: Bad enough that they must live with the lack of his loving presence, surely we cannot allow financial hardship to add to their Burden.
Blessings to The Carnicle Family, and also to Officer Carnicle’s colleagues, who not only must be bereft, but then must suck it up and go out in their own patrol cars again; somewhere within their hearts wondering if they are the next hero to go down.
      Sincerely and Respectfully Yours,

      Patrick B. Jarvis
