To be “in harm’s way”…. would be stressful enough. But I am sad to
hear that this wonderful officer paid the ultimate price. May his family,
friends, and department colleagues be greatly comforted. With love, from Utah !

  10. On behalf of myself, and the officers of the Madera Police Department, I would like to extend our deepest condolences for the loss of Lieutenant Glenn Hutto. May the sacrifice Lieutenant Hutto paid remind all officers how vulnerable we are. When an officer falls in the line of duty a piece of every officer is sacrificed along with him. We are all bonded by who and what we represent. May his loss help guide the new and the seasoned officers down that path we have all chosen, serving and protecting.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Lieutenant Hutto, and the Baton Rouge Police Department, during this extraordinarily difficult time. Lieutenant Hutto’s death is a senseless tragedy, and my department will be honoring his heroism and his memory today and always.
