Police Officer Brown was struck and killed as he responded to a disturbance at a casino. The suspect began walking towards Officer Brown with a broken bottle and then jumped into Officer Brown’s police car and drove towards him. Officer Brown fired his service weapon at the vehicle, but the suspect did not stop and intentionally struck him. Officer Brown was airlifted to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Officer Brown is the second law enforcement officer fatality from a Tribal Agency in 2020.
