Deputy Sheriff Kenny Ingram and Deputy Sheriff Anthony White were killed when their county-issued vehicle struck a tractor-trailer that was stopped for traffic. The deputies were in transit to pick up an inmate. Deputy Ingram is the 38th officer to be killed in a traffic-related incident this year and the seventh officer fatality from the state of Georgia in 2020.
