A Dream Come True

Anthony M. Tantillo

Patrolman, Sudbury (MA) Police Department

Anthony M. Tantillo’s passion for law enforcement dates back to his early childhood. While in high school, Anthony participated in the Connecticut State Police’s Explorer Post #142 program through the Tolland Resident Trooper’s Office. After college, Anthony started his career working as a security officer various local hospitals and colleges. In 2015, he completed the academy and joined the Connecticut Department of Corrections where he served as an officer for five years. Anthony then completed the Massachusetts Special State Police Officer Academy in 2021 launching his childhood dream job of becoming a Police Officer. He started with the town of Palmer, MA and has since transferred to Sudbury, MA.

Anthony joined the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund “Stand With Honor” in 2022 to give back to his Brothers/Sisters and to the assist in the mission of uniting us. Every day he is grateful for the friendship, guidance, leadership, and community gained from his brothers and sisters in blue that he felt compelled to pay it forward.

Anthony is honored to be remembered in this Museum alongside such admirable role models, legacies, and most importantly remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
