Hi, my name is Peter Prunty. I joined the Alexandria Police Department in 2016 when I was 24 years old, because it had always been a lifelong dream of mine to follow in my father’s footsteps as a Law Enforcement Officer. I truly believe in serving others. I joined the Army National Guard in 2010 and I am happy to be continuing that service as a police officer. I’m sharing this because I want my community to know about me and about law enforcement in general as a profession of people who strive to do what is right and help others.
