My name is Michael Rodriguez. I joined the City of Alexandria (VA) Police Department in 2007 when I was 21 years old. Law Enforcement has always been a calling for me. I wanted to help people at their worst times. One of my biggest satisfactions has been the ability to help so many people in so many ways. I’m sharing my story with you because I want people to understand that being a TRUE LEO is more than just a job, but a calling to do God’s work on earth. I’m truly honored to be remembered in this Museum, because I want my beautiful children and future grandchildren to see that no matter what you go through in life, you can always make a difference helping others.
