Hi, my name is Patrick Fortenberry. I joined the Greer Police Department in 1995 when I was 22 years old, because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and to protect others who cannot protect themselves. One thing that surprised me about being a police officer is that I’d never expected to receive as much support from the community as I have given them. I’m sharing this because I want my community to know that there has never been a day that I have not wanted to serve them. I truly care about each citizen in the city and treasure the partnerships we have created between us. I’m so honored to be remembered in this Museum, because it reflects well on the community I serve on a daily basis.
