Growing up a cop’s kid is a specific experience. Each member of the family experiences the highs and lows in their own way – and the bottom line is a lesson of appreciation. Through thick and thin, we see the importance and hold a personal appreciation of each person who puts on a uniform. My dad came home every morning or night after his shift. Thank you to those who risk a different story as they hold their badge. And thank you to those who know too well what is on the line.
