Matt was truly one of a kind! He loved being a police officer, but most of all he loved his family, friends and community. I never realized how much Matt truly did for his community. Since his passing, there have been so many memories shared about how Matt was always there to help anyone and everyone in need. If you know Matt, you know he was extremely stubborn and made everyone angry at some point, but you also know he was caring, loving and compassionate. Those he loved could always count on him. His community could always count on him. Every time I look at Matt’s two boys, I know his spirit lives on. Matt, you will forever be missed and loved.
