The current crisis facing our nation has resulted in the cancellation of public gatherings in Washington, DC, during National Police Week. May 10-16, 2020. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum wants you to know that nothing will stop us from honoring the 2019 fallen. On Wednesday, May 13, 2020, we plan to march forward in solidarity with a virtual Candlelight Vigil that you will be able to watch from anywhere in the world.
Now you have an opportunity to embrace the spirit of the Candlelight Vigil from anywhere at any time.
By participating in United by Light—with a donation amount of your choosing–you can pay tribute to a law enforcement officer by lighting a virtual candle in respect, honor, or remembrance.
- Make an online donation – choose the gift amount that is appropriate and meaningful for you.
- Receive a thank you message with a link to the Virtual Candle Tribute Form.
- Dedicate a message of hope and healing and light a virtual candle for your law enforcement hero.
- Visit LawMemorial.org/VirtualCandle to view all the virtual candle tributes and share it with family and friends.
Your thoughtfulness will shine bright on the Memorial website. We’ve even made it possible for you to share your unique message with family and friends.
