Wreath Laying Ceremony

Following the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service at the U.S. Capitol, the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police and Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary will proceed to the National Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial for the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony.

Stand Watch for the Fallen

Sponsored by Honor Guards from across the U.S. will stand vigil at the Memorial to honor the fallen.

Police Unity Tour Ride-In

Between 1,200 and 1,300 riders are expected to ride into the Memorial to remember and honor the fallen. The ride begins is in New Jersey with a 45 to 50 mile ride. The next day, the riders will travel to Wilmington, DE. From Wilmington, they will ride about 100 miles to Annapolis, MD. The last

Police Unity Tour Ceremony

Leaders of Police Unity Tour honor the Memorial, riders, and all the fallen officers they represent with special recognition to commemorate 25 years of riding, raising funds, and building awareness, for the 30th Anniversary of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The ceremony will take place at the Memorial.

Destination Zero Conference for Officer Safety and Wellness

Sponsored by The Destination Zero Officer Safety and Wellness Conference is an annual gathering of law enforcement officials who are dedicated to improving the safety and wellness of their employees. This year’s event will be held virtually from the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, D.C., on October 15, 2021, beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

Candlelight Vigil

The Candlelight Vigil will honor the officers whose names were added to the Memorial in 2020 and 2021. A total of 701 names will be read by high-ranking government officials, and officials from local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as other related individuals. The Vigil take place on the National Mall between
