Detective Sgt. Akeman collapsed while on the stand providing sworn testimony regarding a burglary case. Detective Sgt. Akeman was engaged in a heated back and forth with the defense attorney who was demanding that he reveal the name of his confidential informant. Detective Sgt. collapsed during the argument and died at the scene.
