Patrolman Black sustained multiple injuries in a motorcycle crash when his patrol motorcycle was struck by a vehicle. The collision tossed Patrolman Black almost 80 feet and caused his motorcycle to burst into flames. Patrolman Black was transported to the hospital where he died.
