Deputy Sheriff Locke was shot and killed while assisting other officers during a domestic disturbance call. The suspect had previously fired shots and when Deputy Locke arrived on scene the suspect shot him. Deputy Locke was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
