The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund has special activities to honor law enforcement, including the iconic nationwide Move for the Badge, the Annual Awards Ceremony, and a free Museum Open House.
Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception
The Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held at the National Law Enforcement Museum on September 29. We will recognize and award the individuals and agencies who have created programs that save officer lives, who have gone above and beyond their call of duty, and who have made a significant impact on the law enforcement community:
- 2023 Destination Zero Officer Safety and Wellness Awards
- 2022 Officers of the Month
- 2023 Ambassador Impact Award
Move for the Badge | Culminates on September 30
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund annual Move for the Badge is a flagship community event that demonstrates support for law enforcement, generates excitement for the organization’s museum and special programs, and raises critical funds needed for our mission to honor the fallen, tell the story of American law enforcement, and make it safer for those who serve.
Begin your chosen activities and raise awareness and funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund during September, winners announced on Sept. 30, 2023.
Museum Open House

Activities and must-see exhibitions include:
- MPD K-9 presentation
- Storytelling with an officer
