Serving with DHS as both a U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Officer and as an Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent was a logical and natural transition from my military career as a U.S. Air Force Security Forces (AKA Security Police) officer. Many great comrades and great experiences, particularly Operation Community Shield and Operation Red Rein with ICE, and doing open-ocean anchor boardings of cargo vessels with CBP.
